Welcome back to part 2 of our mini-series on creativity. In our opening lesson, we looked at how clients are creative by nature, and how they like to partner with like-minded law firms. The author and thought leader Olga Mack is a long time GLL member, and she tells us that the role of “Product Counsel” now exists in many technology companies. This is because companies develop so many products, so fast, that they need someone to handle the creativity, vision and lifecycle challenges of their products.

This creative approach is increasingly demanded of outside counsel as they seek to serve their modern-day clients. What’s more, there are opportunities for creativity in everyday private practice. In this lesson, we discuss where to look.
