Kirkland & Ellis has made up 10 partners in its London office as part of its largest-ever global partnership promotion round.
The US firm has made up a total of 122 partners globally, up from last year's then-record figure of 97.
The latest round has seen six men and four women in the firm's City office make the cut.
Like last year, the firm's City M&A and private equity practice has seen the most additions, with Tom Bartram, Dipak Bhundia, Melanie Johnson and Tom McCarthy all made up.
The other new City partners include James Esterkin in real estate finance, Philip McEachen in financial services regulatory, Andrea Renold in investment funds, Mike Robert-Smith in antitrust, Michael Taufner in capital markets and Jennifer Wilson in technology and intellectual property transactions.
The firm's founding office in Chicago saw the largest amount of new partners added, with 37 new appointments up from 25 last year. The firm's other US offices also saw promotions: 27 in New York; 10 in Los Angeles; eight apiece in San Francisco and Washington DC; seven in Houston; two each in Palo Alto and Boston; and one in Dallas.
Kirkland's Hong Kong office has also been boosted by the addition of seven new partners and the Shanghai office bolstered by two.
Only M&A and private equity partner Thomas Kravtiz was made up in the firm's Munich office, while the firm's Beijing outpost was the sole office to have not seen any promotions at all this year.
Kirkland has hired a number of heavyweight partners to its London office in recent months, including private equity star David Higgins from Freshfields at the beginning of the year and former Allen & Overy international property head Nicola Dagg in May.
