NFU Mutual finalises roster with three firms sheared from line-up
The insurance company previously had seven firms on its line-up

DWF, DAC Beachcroft, BTO Solicitors and John McKee & Son Solicitors have won places on the National Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Society's legal panel.
The company, which trades as NFU Mutual, completed its panel review earlier this month, cutting the line-up from seven firms to four.
DAC Beachcroft is the only firm to be reappointed to the panel. The previous roster, which ran from 2015 until this year, consisted of Kennedys, Clyde & Co, BLM, Keoghs, Langleys Solicitors, and Taylor Rose.
The panel will provide NFU Mutual with legal services that support the full range of its general insurance claims operations in the UK.
The panel will take effect from 1 January and last for a period of three years.
NFU Mutual head of claims Jon Cawley said: "NFU Mutual has completed an extensive review of its future requirements for Claims Legal Services to create a single panel across all the jurisdictions in which it operates."
He added: "The consolidated panel provides for future relationships of greater depth and importance that will help us deliver our strategy of managing claims litigation proactively and effectively, whilst continuing to support the future needs of our customers. We are looking forward to further enhancing the excellence of claims delivery, for which NFU Mutual is recognised, in partnership with these leading insurance legal practices."

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
