US firms Weil Gotshal & Manges and Mayer Brown have grown their City partner ranks, in the latest round of promotions.
Weil has made up three partners in London, while Mayer Brown has added four in its City base.
The Weil trio are part of its 11-strong global round, after it eschewed City promotions last year.
Private funds lawyer James Bromley, structured finance lawyer Alexander Martin and business finance and restructuring lawyer Gemma Sage have been made up in its London office.
The majority of Weil promotions have been made in the firm's New York office, with a partner apiece also made up in its Silicon Valley and Frankurt bases. No partners or counsel have been promoted in the firm's Asia offices this year.
The firm has also promoted four London lawyers to counsel.
