Gowling WLG has been added to property investment and development company SEGRO's legal panel, as the FTSE 100 company increases the number of firms on the roster to three.

The firm's addition comes alongside the reappointment of regular advisers CMS and Eversheds Sutherland for another three-year term.

Both firms are longstanding advisers to the company – which develops and invests in property across the UK and continental Europe – with CMS now holding the relationship as a result of its merger with Nabarro last year.

Both Nabarro and Eversheds were appointed to the panel when it was first set up in 2010, alongside SJ Berwin.

SEGRO's general counsel and company secretary is Elizabeth Blease, who has been in the role since 2008, while real estate partner John Burns is the relationship partner at Gowling WLG.

Eversheds London real estate head Bruce Dear manages the relationship for his firm, with Michael Logan taking the lead at CMS.

"SEGRO is an important and longstanding client of the firm," said Logan, "and we are delighted to have been reappointed as one of their core advisers."

This month, Gowling WLG and Eversheds were also reappointed to housebuilding giant Taylor Wimpey's UK legal panel, joining an eight-strong line-up for a three-year term.

Earlier this year, Eversheds won a spot on Metro Bank's legal panel, alongside Gowling WLG, while other panel wins for CMS this year have included an appointed to Unilever's roster.
