Andersen Global has continued its international expansion, taking a foothold in the Namibian legal market via a collaboration agreement with a local firm.
The professional services giant has entered into a collaboration agreement with the African country's largest law firm, Dr Weder, Kauter & Hoveka Inc, making this latest addition the 17th country in which Andersen Global has a presence.
Dr Weder, Kauter & Hoveka Inc provides legal services to individuals, families and corporate clients in litigation, labour law, commercial law, corporate law, tax law and conveyancing. It has more than 100 legal professionals and 19 partners across Namibia.
The move is the latest in a string of collaboration agreements from Andersen Global, following an announcement earlier this year that it was aiming to have a presence in 100 countries within the next three years.
In August, the firm announced it had entered into a collaboration agreement with Mauritius-based tax and advisory firm ATax Advisors Limited, in the same week as launching its presence in the Netherlands with Taxture, a tax-focused advisory firm.
Last month, Andersen Global also announced its expansion in Rwanda, with the addition of MRB Attorneys, as well as expanding its Middle East presence via an agreement with Kuwait's largest law firm, Al Khebra.
Other law firms recently expanding in Africa include CMS, which added two African law firms to its international network this week.
