Flexi-lawyer service Lawyers On Demand (LOD) anticipates top-line growth of 30% in its next financial results.

The firm expects to add an extra £15 million ($19.7 million) to its top line by April 2020, according to firm CEO Tom Hartley. He attributes the firm's exponential growth to success in its key markets of Australia, Singapore and the U.K., but also to its expansion into territories including Germany and the UAE.

"Our new markets are starting to mature," Hartley told Law.com's U.K. arm Legal Week. "Germany and UAE are coming of age," he said, adding that its three biggest markets – the U.K., Australia and Singapore – are "enjoying organic growth".

He also pointed to the firm's ventures into areas outside of lawyer provision during the past two years as key drivers of growth, including its managed services line, through which the firm provides a contract solutions offering.

The firm will open its second German office in Duesseldorf next year, which follows its Munich launch in March 2018.

A person at the firm confirmed that the new Duesseldorf office will open in early in the new year, helmed by a new regional director that the firm is yet to announce. The firm said in a statement that its new office will "enhance LOD's ability to service clients in the north and west of Germany", which "is the location for many international enterprises, as well as law firms".

Earlier this year, Hartley said that entering the U.S. remains a priority for the firm, and that it is "actively looking" for an opportunity.
