Every winter, legal technology professionals and attorneys come to chilly New York City for LegalTech, a three-day event featuring the latest and greatest in technologic advancements to help attorneys work smarter. On Day 2 of the conference, which is run by American Lawyer Media, Corporate Counsel’s parent company, the “Analytics and Information Governance” panel discussion unearthed helpful takeaways for in-house attorneys who are trying to organize and control their organization’s valuable data.

According to the speakers on the panel, which was sponsored by Huron Legal, the road to better information governance often is full of obstacles and requires a serious team effort to be successful. However, if those governance efforts succeed, the hard work will pay off for both in-house counsel and their companies.
