LexisNexis Legal & Professional today announced Lexis Advance Practice Pages. The new landing pages compile centralized resources in various practice areas and jurisdictions. Today there are pages for banking and financial services and energy law; and jurisdiction pages for Florida, New York and Texas.
The centralized resources on the new landing pages offer one-click access to practice area materials. For example, the banking and financial page provides access to treatises and compliance guides—with checklists and sample forms and policies—from the likes of LexisNexis A.S. Pratt, LexisNexis Sheshunoff, CCH compliance guides and reports, and Matthew Bender litigation guidance and analysis. The page includes news and analysis from Law360 and Mealey's as well as publications such as the American Banker, The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.
Aileen Stirling, vice president of litigation practice areas at LexisNexis, demonstrated to LTN the ease of accessing materials on the new pages. Click on any source and drill down into a topical access to the material. At any point in your drill-down, you can engage a faceted search in the context of your topical navigation or broaden your search to the corpus of materials collected for the landing page. Stirling said that each landing page has dedicated editors that curate Lexis Advance materials relevant to the page topic or jurisdiction.
