Let's not mince words: e-discovery is known for being a complicated and extremely costly endeavor, albeit an unavoidable process in certain types of litigation.
In a strongly worded open letter to “honorable practitioners of the law,” Logikcull CEO Andy Wilson didn't mince words either, dubbing e-discovery a “stain on our legal system.”
“It is so expensive that it has been weaponized to drive opposing parties into submission. e-discovery is a black box that charges by the gig and by the page,” Wilson wrote. “It forces swift settlements, delays justice, cheats clients and enrages judges.”
