With ever-tightening compliance requirements, businesses look to e-discovery and information governance to streamline their data review and analysis processes. A recent partnership between Nuix, and HAYSTACKID, a U.S.-based e-discovery and digital forensics company, will expand the tools available for businesses aiming to speedily collect and review data and insights.

Nuix's technology will integrate into HAYSTACKID's suite of products and services across the spectrum of the electronic discovery reference model (EDRM) from legal hold and information governance, forensic collection, investigations, document review and through production, according to Michael Amaral, Director Business Development at Nuix. When reached for comment, Amaral told Legaltech News that Nuix will be a backbone product for HAYSTACKID's “information governance, legal hold, and data mapping services due to Nuix's robust ability to process, parse, migrate and transmogrify a diverse array of complex data types including data generated by enterprise backup systems for workstations, network shares, databases, and e-mail servers.”

The Nuix Engine is the company's product that allows for an array of data types to be parsed that would otherwise require multiple processing engines to format. HAYSTACKID's clients — predominantly law firms and in-house corporate counsel – will be able to more comprehensively analyze data sets and sources with the integration of Nuix's technology.
