The annual Portland-based PREX show is one of the few legal business gatherings that focuses specifically on preservation. But as data volumes created and managed by organizations continue to expand, legal department operations managers, records professionals and attorneys will no doubt need additional resources to inform their businesses decisions in this area.

Legaltech News' PREX15 coverage focused on steps businesses can take to better prepare themselves for preservation and also how evolving policy is also changing the process, but the conference covered a wide range of additional topics.

Monica Enand, founder and CEO of PREX sponsor Zapproved, said one persistent theme that continues to plague discovery space is the volume of data creation. Not only are organizations creating and storing more electronic data than thought conceivable a decade ago, but the potentially relevant sources of that data also continue to diversify.
