New EDRM Micro Dataset Assists In E-discovery Data Testing, Process Validation

EDRM – an organization which sets standards for the e-discovery market – has made available a 5.5 GB micro dataset for e-discovery data testing and process validation.
The new dataset is designed to address emerging challenges that e-discovery pros face in their work, and has many applicable features.
“With new e-discovery software programs appearing on a regular basis, and with many existing programs getting frequent updates, there is a continuing need for up-to-date data files of various types to use for testing and validation,” George Socha, co-founder of EDRM, told Legaltech News about the need for the new offering. “Newer file types can also be a challenge to systems and processes that have not been updated recently.”

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
