Xerox Legal Services Opens Hong Kong Data Center
The move allows the company to address client concerns over ongoing changes in Asian e-discovery market.

In response to difficulties arising in the international e-discovery process, Xerox legal services (XLS) has opened a Hong Kong data center to support secure, compliant data discovery and transaction support in the Asian-Pacific region.
XLS, the legal and compliance solutions division of Xerox Corp, said in a statement that the company opened the center to meets clients' needs regarding increased anti-corruption and anti-bribery scrutiny. Other motivations noted by the company were the rise in Asian patent litigation and licensing practices and a greater transparency into Asian banking practices.
“Xerox is in a strong position to assist clients prepare and manage the increased litigation, investigation and compliance requirements in Asia,” said XLS senior vice president and managing director Elizabeth Fritts in a statement. She said that XLS' growing presence in Asia allows the company to “facilitate secure, compliant cross-border data discovery projects” for clients seeking international support.
