Women in eDiscovery to Host Legaltech Panels on Cybersecurity and Data
The group will hold networking and educational events on February 4, the final day of Legaltech New York.

This week, Women in eDiscovery (WiE) announced that it will host a half-day of CLE-eligible events at Legaltech New York again this year, and that the organzation will support the American Heart Association's Go Red campaign to raise heart disease awareness.
Women in eDiscovery is an organization that brings together women interested in technology related to the legal profession, and each year offers its members and other Legaltech attendees the opportunity to network and participate in panel discussions that share the knowledge and expertise of the organization.
The panels that will be conducted on Feb. 4 at the New York Hilton Midtown's Nassau Suite will consist of “Cybersecurity Threat – Are Mobile Apps and the Internet of Things Gateways to Security Breaches?” and “Safe Harbor No More,” a panel that will address the issue of data transfer with European countries. Speaking to Legaltech News, Amy Juers, executive director of Women in eDiscovery, said that the overarching theme for the panels this year is “control”:
