Consulting Firm Morae Legal and E-Discovery Provider Clutch Group to Merge
The merged company Morae Global Corporation is expected to expand both companies' ranges of compliance products and services.

E-discovery service provider Clutch Group and legal consulting company Morae Legal Services today announced their intent to merge their companies. The unified company, Morae Global Corporation, will integrate Morae Legal's information governance and e-discovery consulting services with Clutch Group's e-discovery and managed review platforms.
Morae Legal president and CEO Shahzad Bashir will continue on as president and CEO of the consolidated Morae Global group. Clutch Group's founder and CEO Abhi Shah will move into a role as vice chairman of the Morae Global Corporation board.
Prior to the merger, the two legal services groups managed strong footprints in separate verticals. Clutch Group's services, with specific technology designed for risk and compliance analytics and information security, had strong ties to the financial sector, while Morae Legal worked more closely with the energy sector.
