The legal technology industry has its first potential bot marriage on its hands.

Legal Intelligence Support Assistant (LISA), a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) automation tool, recently announced a partnership with barristers' clerk-emulating chatbot Billy Bot. The two companies will cross-promote their technology through the “romantic” partnership, clearly capitalizing on the humanized marketing of the two products.

Stephen Ward, the designer behind Billy Bot, joked that the two gender-named legal tools have long prompted questions about a potential romance. “We've been hearing rumors about Billy Bot and robot LISA for quite some time now, but we're delighted that they've finally decided to make it official. People say office romances don't last, however we're looking forward to potentially the first bot wedding in a few years' time!” Ward said in a statement.
