E-discovery has seen a massive upheaval in the past five years, with terms such as AI entering the lexicon, M&A deals happening left and right, and the EDRM being stretched as never before. But throughout it all, one thing has stayed constant: Relativity as the most-used e-discovery technology provider in the industry.
Relativity's Shawn Gaines has seen it all. Now entering his eighth year with the company, Relativity's director of marketing communications says the company is ready to expand beyond just its e-discovery roots, such as recent partnerships with Deloitte and Heretik.
“We've seen a lot of that over the last couple of years,” Gaines explains. “We've always built Relativity as an open platform. With open APIs, people can build all kinds of things on it.”
In this podcast, Gaines discusses how Relativity's rebranding from kCura affects clients and recruitment, the strategy behind partnering with other legal technology and service providers, the future of e-discovery in the cloud, and more.
