The second annual Global Legal Hackathon has begun, and winners from 24 countries have advanced to the second round, including two New York- and Philadelphia-based teams who looked to empower people to pursue civil court matters.

Participants in the first round of Global Legal Hackathon, which happened in a host of global cities, created legal solutions over two days beginning Feb. 22. The solutions had to address access-to-justice or practice-of-law challenges.
