A new Business of Law and Legal Technology survey from legal software provider Aderant suggests that law firms are beginning to shift their attention away from cybersecurity to focus on tech solutions that facilitate more efficiency within the organization. However, troubles soliciting partner and leadership buy-in continue to remain a stumbling block to those efforts.

The survey is comprised of responses from 147 business of law and legal professionals, the vast majority of whom are based in the U.S. Respondents were asked to identify the top challenges facing law firms, and results showed cybersecurity slipping from 33% of the vote in 2018 to 17% in 2019.
