Attorneys Jennifer Straton and Meredith Coleman spent two years preparing the recently launched Emerging/Disruptive Technologies Group at Kissel Hirsch & Wilmer—and there's a pretty good chance it's not done growing quite yet.
As co-led by Straton and Coleman, the practice will focus primarily on the insurance industry as it attempts to grapple with the emergence of technologies such as cyrptocurrency, blockchain and machine learning.
Kissel Hirsch & Wilmer certainly isn't the first firm to devote substantial resources to emerging technologies. Paul Hastings, for example, launched a practice group devoted to AI last March.
