Innovative Discovery becomes the latest e-discovery prodder to expand to the left side of the EDRM amidst strong investor support for legal tech companies that offers end-to-end solutions.

Today, Innovative Discovery announced it has acquired information governance consultancy Integro, becoming the latest e-discovery provider to leverage M&A to achieve an end-to-end offering that services both sides of EDRM.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. A press release announcing the acquisition noted that in the immediate future, Innovative Discovery and Integro will continue as two separate brands as they work to assimilate as one entity under the Innovative Discovery name.
In a video announcement discussing the acquisition, Innovative Discovery CEO Kim Taylor said that in the combined company, Integro CEO Scott Burt will "lead Innovative Discovery's information governance services, and the rest of his team will be doing business as usual. And over time we will continue to look for new ways to serve our customers."

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M.
