Today, practice and case management software company MyCase announced it has been sold by its parent company AppFolio for approximately $193 million to private equity firm Apax Funds. The deal is expected to close by the end of the third quarter.

A press release announcing the sale noted that Apax Partners “will support MyCase with increased investments” in the areas of product development, sales and marketing. Umang Kajaria, partner at Apax, said the private equity firm is “excited” to partner with Mycase staff “to invest behind continued innovation and growth acceleration.”
