The high-profile deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Rayshard Brooks by police officers sparked a worldwide discussion regarding race and inequality in 2020. In response, law firms, like many other companies, issued statements highlighting diversity achievements and goals.

While hiring and retention are critical to these efforts, fostering inclusion among a workforce is also a significant part of it. To that end, many firms have turned to technology in a bid to create a more inclusive environment.  

On Monday, the Legal Marketing Association Tech Midwest Week held the virtual "Firms Using Technology to Support Racial and Social Justice" panel to spotlight firms' technological efforts to combat bias, encourage frank conversation and provide accessibility for the disabled.
