Like many other conferences during the COVID-19 pandemic, Legalweek New York is going virtual. But this time, it's with a twist: It's rebranding into an extended, year-long event that is free to attend live.

On Thursday, ALM announced that its Legalweek New York conference will be expanded into an event for 2021 titled Legalweek(year). Starting on the conference's normal timing on the first week of February, the expanded conference will take place on five dates across six months:

|
  • Feb. 2-4
  • March 16
  • April 13
  • May 11
  • July 13-14

This will be followed by additional chats and on-demand conference access throughout the remainder of the year, with the intention of leading up to an in-person event Feb. 1-3, 2022.

Similar to some other industry conferences, ALM is also planning on making the live portion of the conference free to attend, with only registration needed to watch content on the day of the event. On-demand content access, as well as CLE eligibility for relevant sessions, will cost $299. More details and full registration can be found on the conference's website.
