The International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) released its 2020 Technology Survey on Tuesday, and the results point to a law firm ecosystem that is still continuing to adapt to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. At least in terms of the tech-enabled assists deployed, size may definitely matter.

But it’s not only the sudden popularity of remote working that firms are contending with, but also getting a handle on the ever-broadening landscape of data within their organizations. While chat platforms are gaining in use, good old-fashioned email doesn’t seem to be going anywhere either. As a result, the implementation of records retention programs may be becoming something of a priority for firms.
