The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has concluded that regulatory reform is needed to tackle unregulated providers in the legal industry, with many alternative legal services and legal tech providers set to be affected.

Findings of the three-month review were published by the CMA on Thursday following its 2016 recommendations to the legal sector to improve transparency on price, service and quality to help customers navigate the sector more easily and get value for money.
