When lawyers were sent home from their offices in March 2020, most were sent home with a message "we'll be back to normal in a couple of months." Indeed, in Littler's Return to Work survey conducted in May 2020, the vast majority of the in-house counsel, human resources professionals, and C-Suite executives believed that everything would be "back to normal" by summer's end.
