Legal Research Companies Fastcase and Casemaker Announce Merger
Fastcase and Casemaker are combining forces with an eye toward analytics advances and building enough scale to present an alternative to some of the larger incumbents in the legal research space.

Maybe 2021 will be the year of togetherness. Legal research providers Fastcase and Casemaker announced this morning that they would be combining their mutual resources, technologies and employees in a merger. The parent company behind that combined entity will remain known as Fastcase, while Casemaker will continue to function as a separate brand and a platform. Satish Sheth, Casemaker's owner, has become a member of Fastcase's board of directors.
