On Jan. 6, a stampede of President Donald Trump supporters broke into the U.S. Capitol building to hijack the ceremonial certification of President-elect Joe Biden's election win. The mob was incited by years of conspiracy theories spread across social media platforms, much of which were bolstered by Trump himself.
