Legal technology professionals were tested like never before in 2020. Firms were forced, literally overnight, to pivot from a predominantly in-person work structure to wide-scale work from home operations. Attorneys, legal support staff, administrative assistants, IT managers, hardware techs and help desk personnel all found themselves suddenly and unexpectedly working remotely. Add the at-home challenges of childcare, virtual schooling, spousal co-work and finite connectivity, and the trappings of an unwieldy tech crisis began to emerge.
