It seems like new communication apps keep popping up around every corner. Need to send a secure message to someone across the globe? Try out WhatsApp. Want to have a video conference call with screen sharing capabilities? Set up a Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting. Now add Clubhouse to the mix.

Clubhouse is a social media app that launched last year. If you have not heard of it, you aren’t alone—an invitation is necessary in order to gain access, and those invites are limited. Once a user has access, they can drop in on audio conversations, whether to participate or just listen to others speak. However, saving any of the audio is prohibited and none of the conversations are saved or archived.
