After acquiring information governance company NetGovern last year, e-discovery provider Ipro aims to further crystalize its expansion into the entire EDRM life cycle with a rebranding, which includes a new website and logo.

Unveiled yesterday, the new branding further illustrates Ipro's new goals and service abilities in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), Ipro chief innovation officer Pierre Chamberland told Legaltech News. Chamberland previously served as NetGovern's founder and CEO before it was acquired by Ipro last July.

"It was just the right thing to do to better communicate the ambition of Ipro," Chamberland said. "We spent the last six months integrating the culture, the people and technology of [Ipro and NetGovern]. The thesis was always that better discovery started with better governance. We felt that our partners, our customers and community at large would benefit from a boost, and it wasn't enough to try to just tweak the Ipro Tech or NetGovern websites."
