There are probably more relaxing ways to spend a weekend than being handed the reins to a global legal organization. On May 1, Mike Haven officially became the new president of the Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC), a role that has already been added to his LinkedIn page under his current job as senior director, associate general counsel and head of legal operations at Intel Corp.

He’s taking over for former president Mary O’Carroll, who announced last month that she would be stepping down from CLOC in order to pursue a job with one of the organization’s sponsors,  contract lifecycle management platform Ironclad. Haven is no stranger to CLOC, having spent the past two years as a board member.
