Mitratech Acquires ContractRoom, Becoming Latest to Seek End-to-End CLM Capabilities
Its second deal in less than a week, Mitratech says this acquisition expands upon its point solutions to make it a contract lifecycle management (CLM) one-stop-shop.

This isn't déjà vu: Corporate legal, risk and compliance software provider Mitratech has purchased another legal tech entity. Today, the company announced it acquired contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform ContractRoom to provide end-to-end contract services.
Only a few days earlier, on May 6, Mitratech also announced it purchased outside counsel network and assessment service AdvanceLaw.
Like AdvanceLaw, the financial details of the ContractRoom deal weren't revealed. Similarly, acquisition talks with AdvanceLaw and ContractRoom began roughly three to four months ago, said Mitratech CEO Mike Williams.

Edmund Polubinski and Marie Killmond of Davis Polk & Wardwell have entered appearances for data platform software development company MongoDB and other defendants in a pending shareholder derivative lawsuit. The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
