Exterro Review Upgrades, With a New User Interface and Emphasis on Speed
Exterro bets that a focus on accelerating the speed of e-discovery review workflows—from automated document processing to evaluating reviewers—will allow it to stand out from the competition.

Today, e-discovery and information governance software provider Exterro released a new version of its e-discovery review platform Exterro Review.
Ajith Samuel, Exterro's chief product officer, said the updates include accelerated speed of data review processes, an upgraded user interface and a function to evaluate document reviewers.
With these updates, the company is targeting law firms, corporate legal departments, law enforcement agencies and alternative legal service providers (ALSP) that require quick scale for various matters, Samuel noted. He said review platforms "should be able to support and auto scale and quickly add resources and the ability to support different projects and do it in an accelerated fashion."

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments.
