Scammers are posing as high-profile commercial lawyers from the likes of Baker McKenzie, Dechert and Linklaters in the latest set of scams announced by the U.K. legal industry regulator.

WhatsApp messages and telephone calls purporting to be from Baker McKenzie’s London managing partner Alex Chadwick, who is soon to be the firm’s EMEA+ CEO, have been sent to a member of the public, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) warned on Monday.
