Under the American Rescue Plan passed in March, $350 billion was allocated to state, local, territorial and tribal governments under the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds. But while many states are benefiting from the the new federal funding, these resources won’t necessarily trickle down to additional local court tech spending.

After all, Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds are given to state governors. Additionally, some courts said the funding is only intended for reimbursement, not additional spending.
