As legal service providers consider the sensitive topic of implementing employee vaccination mandates, some of their clients are forcing their hand by demanding only vaccinated contract workers for on-premise services. However, the potential for on-site work this year may become increasingly less likely as mutating COVID-19 variants push many clients to favor remote workers.

As law firms reopen, vendors said their clients are extending their vaccination requirements for staffers and lawyers to their contract workers.
