While some corporate clients fear remote document review, the pandemic largely proved off-site review generally isn’t inferior or more dangerous. And with enough “cheesy” Zoom calls and open lines of communication, they can mirror the accuracy and efficiency of in-person review processes, said a panel of e-discovery professionals.

On Thursday, ILTACON 2021 held a panel titled “1812 Overtur(n)es: Quality Control in the Era of Remote Review Teams” to discuss how to manage document review in a remote setting. Luckily, according to the panelists, few additional resources were needed in a remote document review environment.
