Fresh off of raising $30 million in October, the parent company of legal practice management software provider Smokeball and cloud software provider LEAP is entering the mergers and acquisitions game, acquiring website management software LawLytics.

Founded in 2011 by attorney Dan Jaffe, Phoenix-based LawLytics offers a platform aimed at small law firms and solo practitioners to allow them to start their own website or improve an existing one. Jaffe will continue as CEO of LawLytics after the acquisition, and Smokeball-LEAP-InfoTrack Group will be providing LawLytics a “significant investment in expanded features and integrations,” according to the press release announcing the acquisition.
