At the beginning of 2021, Epiq rang in the new year with the launch of a new flexible staffing service, dubbed Epiq Counsel and aimed at corporate legal departments. Originally founded in 2012 by former General Electric executives, Simplex and its affiliated Simplex Legal law firm provide flexible corporate legal staffing, technology services, and legal tech consulting throughout Canada.
