Even as the Federal Reserve appears poised to raise interest rates this year, legal tech investors and industry watchers said demand is too hot to chill the private equity investments flowing into legal tech companies.

To be sure, legal tech vendors and others should expect interest rate hikes as the Federal Reserve attempts to lower inflation. During his U.S. Senate reconfirmation hearing held Jan. 11, Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell noted, “If we see inflation persisting at high levels, longer than expected, if we have to raise interest rates more over time, then we will,” according to reports.
