With just a year remaining before the implementation of the California Privacy Rights and Enforcement Act (CPRA), which, among other things, adds enforcement authority to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), a survey from Boston-based privacy rights management company CYTRIO found that many U.S.-based enterprises are still not ready for the new regulation. 

“The State of CCPA Compliance Q1 2022 Research Report,” released last week, found that 89% of businesses were either “non-compliant or partially compliant” with the CCPA. The report surveyed 5,175 U.S. mid-to-large enterprises with revenues ranging from $25 million to more than $5 billion.
