The days of discovery primarily consisting of emails and business documents are fleeting. But as corporate correspondence changes, not all e-discovery software developers have adjusted their review and collection features for new platforms, said T-Mobile discovery and information governance director Ellen Blanchard.

“The collection tools are review tools that are really designed for a world of emails and office documents and have not yet caught up with these collaboration tools,” she said.
