Analysis
The pandemic years have seen important aspects of legal proceedings largely go remote, relying on virtual video platforms like Zoom, Skype and Microsoft Teams among others. While such tools helped make everything from court trials to depositions more accessible, it's not helping bring broader access to justice to everyone. In fact, many lacking reliable internet services are now facing more barriers to legal services.
