As the crisis in Ukraine has unfolded over the last two months, the legal and tech sectors have looked to offer more services to Ukrainians struggling to find aid, emigrate, or gather humanitarian information for their safety.

Chicago-based legal tech provider Paladin announced Thursday a partnership with the Legal Development Network (LDN), a Ukrainian legal association, to launch a pro bono portal to help match attorneys with client’s needs. The portal also offers an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot from Ukrainian startup Pravoman—translated from Ukrainian to “Lawyer Man”—that offers answers to more basic legal questions users may have.
