For a few years now, LTN has examined about the increase in corporate legal department-facing technologies. It has been a slow burn though—a corporate-centric legal hold tool here, an increased contracts capability here. Even under the pandemic, with the rapid rise of contract-centric tech tools, most remained hesitant to say that the flame of corporate legal tech was anything approaching law firm-centric tech.
