After nearly 20 years working for law firms, Katie DeBord has become the VP of product strategy for e-discovery provider DISCO. She wants to be a part of the transformation that makes legal tech as engaging as many consumer platforms.

After spending most of her career working either for the government or for law firms—first as an intelligence officer for the Central Intelligence Agency and then nearly two decades with firms—Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner chief innovation officer Katie DeBord is making the leap into the legal tech sector.
This week, DISCO announced DeBord joined the company as its vice president of product strategy. She will report to DISCO chief product officer Kevin Smith and assist in guiding the company's direction as it expands beyond e-discovery into other areas of the litigation life cycle.
