Legal TechnologyTCDI has its eyes on expansion, announcing today the acquisition of Aon's e-discovery practice in a deal that will increase both its product offerings and geographic scope.
North Carolina-based e-discovery provider TCDI announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire global professional services firm Aon's e-discovery practice. The deal includes software tools such as Aon's NOMAD mobile processing platform, PHI/PII detection and post-data-breach support tools, as well as advisory services such as information governance.
TCDI also noted that the deal will expand the company's services in the U.K. in particular, as it continues to grow in a rapidly expanding e-discovery services market. Both TCDI and Aon noted that the two companies will maintain a "strong commercial relationship" to support future and ongoing client engagements, with Aon's broader cyber solutions continuing to enhance client delivery and support.
